People in Need – a Czech Republic based non-governmental organization dedicated to development cooperation, delivery of humanitarian aid in areas of need, and human rights support – has long tradition of working in the Western Balkans. The current activities in Kosovo include assistance to people with disabilities in different forms as well as support to the inclusive education for children from the most vulnerable communities. At this time, People in Need, with the support of European Commission, and in partnership with two local Civil Society Organizations, HandiKos and KAB, is implementing a 24 – month project with the overall goal of contributing to the transition of the most disadvantaged groups in the labor market from social assistance and economic dependence, to employment and self-employment opportunities in Municipalities of: Prishtinë/Priśtina, Prizren and Ferizaj/Uruśevac.
In the frames of this program, People in Need and HandiKos, are looking for candidates to participate in the training for Employment Consultants. Upon successful completion of the training, the Employment Consultants will assume the role of direct support providers to people with disabilities – PWDs in the process of getting them ready for employment in the current market or self-employment.
