Advocacy Coordination Group meets with the Director of the Office of Good Governance, discusses the joint work plan 2020

Advo­ca­cy Coor­di­na­tion Group con­sist­ing of rep­re­sen­ta­tives of HANDIKOS, Koso­vo Blind Asso­ci­a­tion, Koso­vo Deaf Asso­ci­a­tion and Project Staff held a meet­ing with the Direc­tor of the Office of Good Gov­er­nance / Office of the Prime Min­is­ter of Koso­vo, Mr. Habit Hajredini.

The pur­pose of the meet­ing was to dis­cuss the joint work plan for 2020. In the meet­ing it was dis­cussed: the report on the imple­men­ta­tion of the cur­rent Nation­al Action Plan for Per­sons with Dis­abil­i­ties; the estab­lish­ment of the work­ing group for draft­ing the new Nation­al Action Plan 2021–2023, and the invi­ta­tion for the func­tion­ing of the Nation­al Coun­cil for Peo­ple with Disabilities.

The meet­ing was held with­in the EU fund­ed project “Pro­mot­ing inclu­sive­ness and out­reach of the con­sul­ta­tive process for gov­er­nance and pub­lic admin­is­tra­tion reforms in the dis­abil­i­ty sec­tor at Local, Nation­al and Region­al Lev­el”, imple­ment­ed by Hand­iKOS, in part­ner­ship with Dis­abil­i­ty Part­ner­ship Fin­land, Thresh­old, Koso­vo Asso­ci­a­tion of Deaf and Koso­vo Asso­ci­a­tion of Blind.
